BEEr bottle for

Bottoms Up Brewery

When designing the brand’s logo, I drew a vector image that would be both comedic and memorable, helping set Bottoms Up Brewery apart from existing British beer manufacturers and make it something of a talking point. For inclusivity, I came up with two initial logo designs. This could of course be expanded in the future to represent people with a range of skin colours. Each different beer flavour could potentially use a different skin colour variation of the same logo.

The project brief for the design shown above was to concieve a label for  Bottoms Up Brewing Company’s flagship beer, ‘Flavour Favour’. The design needed to be something that could be used as a template for future beers.

The company is ficticious - something I thought up to put my graphic design skills to the test. Approaching this design brief, I had to consider what the company culture of this imaginary beer brand would be like. With a name like ‘Bottoms Up’, I felt that it would make sense for the company to be playful, creative and down-to-Earth. For this reason, I selected playful, youthful typefaces such as Mizka and Myriad Pro.
